The 9th annual Northern California National Day of Prayer Breakfast, featuring keynote speaker Lee Strobel, will be on Thursday, May 1, 2014. This event, which begins at 7am, is made possible by William Jessup University & K-LOVE Radio, and will be held at the university.

"It is our privilege to continue to support this national event as it provides a seamless blend with our inherent values as an institution of Christian Higher education," said Jessup's President Dr. John Jackson. "It encourages and motivates all who attend."

This year, the theme of the 63rd annual National Day of Prayer is: One Voice, United in Prayer. This year's verse further emphasizes the theme: "So that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 15:6). The National Day of Prayer takes place on the first Thursday of May each year. Ann Graham Lott is the Honorary National Chairperson this year.

Prominent prayer leaders from different walks of life will also give their testimonies and pray for our nation. Event Chairman John Allard said, “It really is amazing to hear so many leaders in important positions in our region publicly declare the importance of Christ in their lives.” Mike Novak, the President and CEO of K-LOVE and Air1, agreed by stating, "To celebrate God's blessings and to honor His love and grace through prayer should always take center stage." This event is now sold out. For further information, reference the official news release here.
